In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxRutgers, where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDxRutgers event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.

TEDxRutgers is brought to you by Rutgers University and the executive team from ISA (International Student Association) at Rutgers University. ISA is a student organization that aims to provide Rutgers University international undergraduate students with the opportunity to meet other international and American students, become familiar with student life at Rutgers, and to learn about a variety of cultures! The ISA strives to facilitate integration of international students into the greater Rutgers community by creating events and activities for involvement and to provide support both academically and socially.
