I'm learning about photography and I'm having a great time. I love pictures of people -- portraits, candids, faces, and expressions. And, on occasion, I lapse into my boyhood fascination with things that crawl around in the backyard. (The camera is more humane than the magnifying glass I once used.)

My camera journey...

I started with my stepfather's Minolta X700. A few years ago, I moved on to a Konica Minolta A2. Now I'm using a Nikon d50 with a Nikkor 50mm 1.8 and a Tamron 17-50mm & 90mm.
