Born and raised in Panama City, Panama. I immigrated to the U.S. in 2001 and joined the U.S. Army in 2002 as a combat camera Soldier. Between 2004 and 2005 I was stationed in the Republic of South Korea. Later that year I moved to Fort Meade, Md., as part of the 55th Signal Company (Combat Camera) . From November 2005 to July 2006 I was deployed to Iraq. During 2007 and 2008 I went through the Military Photojournalism Course at Syracuse University. In 2008 I returned to my old unit (55th). Currently I have the privilege to be deployed to Afghanistan with the Elite 4th Platoon - In The Fight!
