I've been taking pictures as long as I can remember. Historically (for the past many years) my Canon 5d Mark II and my iPhone. I love my 5DMkII and collection of lenses, but I also like taking pictures with the iPhone, since it's always with me, satisfying the urge to compose and capture in a tiny, easy-to-use package. I also enjoy the challenges of working with the primitive phone camera and making adjustments for the different way it handles available light. I recently expanded my photographic options with the purchase of the Fujifilm X100VI. I'm enjoying its superb low-light capabilities, while trying to learn the many options available in the camera itself as well as its custom raw processor.

I'm interested in many different subjects and am sometimes overwhelmed by the sheer number of photographic possibilities. When that happens, I spend time in my archives. I can always find some version of an image that I overlooked the first time, or one that can benefit from my current (and always evolving) abilities in post-processing.

I still love film and am always drawn to the film photos of my contacts, particularly when shot in black & white.
