Hi! I'm Jaine, an amateur photographer living in upstate NY! I have also lived in Connecticut, New Hampshire, Florida, and Vermont, so many of my photos were taken there as well. I'm also a bit of a geek, with an educational background in engineering and robotics. I first joined Flickr back in high school, when I bought my first point-and-shoot camera, sparking my interest in photography! I was also on my high school's robotics team, so many (and I mean MANY) of my first photos were taken of my high school robotics team and competitions. As time went on, my love of photography grew, and you can see a corresponding improvement in my ability.

I long-suffered a lack of good equipment, including lenses up until more recently, due to being a poor college student. My current equipment consists of a Canon Rebel T7i, Rokinon 14mm F/2.8, and Canon 50mm F/1.8, and am hoping to add a fast telephoto lens to my collection soon. So, hopefully in the coming months to years, the quality of my photostream (and my motivation to get out and shoot!) will increase. I'm also interested in exploring the world of astrophotography in the near future.
