I was born with a smile on my face, and it has never left me. I grew up in the country and spent as much time as possible in the mountains. My parents were extremely open minded and committed to making their community a better place. They taught me much about the values of honesty, hard work and teamwork.

My goal as a designer is to turn the industry upside down, and my life goal is to change the world. Designers have helped create much of the mess the planet is now in. Too many have ignored the environmental impacts of their ideas and artifacts. Their design choices have been shaped by consumerism. Ethics have been overlooked. This is an indefensible path. The current economic and environmental crisis gives me great hope. It demands innovative changes that are socially and ecologically sustainable. I believe designers are obligated to be agents of change. Our goal should be to help meet real human needs, not to develop better consumables for ever increasing numbers of consumers. We have the resources to help create a better path for the citizens of this planet. My goal, as a socially and environmentally responsible designer, is to use my expertise to leave the Earth a better place, not just for all people but for all creation.

Peace, Love and Happiness be with you all.
