The Commodities Link is a boutique firm that attracts and retains talented individuals from the worlds of trading and brokerage to provide a more bespoke, educated and developed level of service which guarantees a better product for our customers.

Founded by Darren Flood in 2012. Before The Commodities Link, Darren Flood worked on the floor for one of the world leading inter-dealer brokers. By the time he was 17, he had earned a position as desk assistant, and within months became one of the youngest, and most successful brokers in his market. After pushing the limits of the achievable in City trading for 13 years, Darren felt it was time to shift his work/life balance in the direction of family - his wife and beautiful young children - and so took time out to be with them, and reflect on his future direction.

It was during this time that he saw a gap in the communications market and formed DJF Media. Since then Darren has been working closely with former business associates in the financial world and The Commodities Link is born.
