The Backpack Project of Athens, Inc. (TBP/ATH) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that packs backpacks with food, clothes, and toiletries and hand delivers them to people experiencing homelessness. TBP/ATH specifically focuses to serve immediate needs and drive long-term improvement with the homeless community of Athens. In this report I will cover my responsibilities in leading the summer staff, organizing events, and connecting with the homeless community and service providers.
