I am a college student at the Minneapolis College of Art & Design. I am 18.

For the most part, I am a self taught photographer.

I live in Minnesota and I assure you I am not a hillbilly. :). I started getting an interest in photography towards the end of 2007. Before that, I just randomly took pictures of things with my cell phone and tended to get good comments on them, and my parents encouraged me that I took good pictures so I started taking pictures with my parents point and shoot camera to see what i could come up with. Then I saw some of my friend's pictures and her mom's pictures and that finally inspired me to take photography up as a hobbie. So I decided to buy an SLR camera. My mom told me about her friend who recomended a Canon Rebel. So I researched different Canon cameras and what not and choose the Canon Rebel Xt. A month or two went by, while I experimented with my new hobbie. I joined Flickr for some feedback on my photos. Then a short time later, photography became a passion of mine. Since then, I have been investing in new lenses and better cameras.

I have met so many great people on Flickr and have gotten tons and tons of ideas and inspirations from other peoples photos. People here are so nice and have not seen ONE single bad comment towards someone. I have seen suggestions to make an already good photo, possibly even better. I see a lot of people giving tips to others. Also when someone else has questions or problems, most people are more than happy to help out in anyway they can. This is an amazing website with amazing people! Kudos to Flickr!

Taylor is not only an amazing photographer, but also a great flickr friend! He is so honest with his images and in his comments. He is also not afraid to ask for help, which shows that he is not an ignorant person and will grow very much as a photographer. I specially like his macro, they all have an interesting perspective that only he can bring to the image. He is a very busy guy and as of now can only devote time to photography on weekends and such, but I really hope he gets some more free time soon as I would really love to see more pictures. He wrote me my first testimonial, which was extremely sweet ad unexpected since I did not even know what a testimonial was. I am glad to have met him through flickr and I can't wait to see him evolve into an even greater photographer!!!!!! P.S. I am totally jealous of his CanonXT, but he has convinced me to get one too.
