I'm a Freshman in college with a Major in Physics. My main interest is science, mostly within the realm of physics and astronomy. After that I have a few others which include reading, cars, aviation, and generally just thinking about things.

As far as photography goes, I'm just a hobbyist. And an amateur one at that. My main cameras/lenses are a Nikon D40 with a 50mm f/1.4, and a Nikon F2 with a multitude of lenses that I found in my attic. Other cameras include a Minolta XG-M with an array of lenses, and an Olympus of sorts (both inherited from my grandpa), but neither of which I use often. I have an Epson V500 scanner to scan in my film (which is whatever is cheapest, often 200-400 ISO generic brand) to my computer. From there I often touch it up in Photoshop. I've recently started processing my own BW film which is pretty fun, if not nerve racking the first few times. I usually use ISO 100 Ilford or Kodak film for BW.

I enjoy extended exposure and night photography, nature, architecture, and any mix of the three. I'm bad at taking pictures of people, any good ones are pure luck. I prefer to take pictures of things I find in their 'natural state'; I don't like staging or setting up scenes. I'll challenge myself to find a good composure of a scene, and if I fail (which is often) I'll look for another subject instead of trying to manipulate the one at hand.
