I am a natural light, on-location photographer specializing in two areas of portraiture that are at quite opposite ends of the spectrum.

My first area of interest is photographing what I like to call "relaxed children and family portraits." There's nothing more stressful than carting the kids off to a busy mall or discount store photo studio where the sessions are assembly-line style and you're just trying to get everyone there on time without the kids getting dirty and without getting into a big stressed-out argument with the husband.

I like to go to families homes or to a favorite location to do relaxed photos of them as they engage in a fun activity such as making sand castles, playing in the sprinkler, eating icecream, etc.

The other area of photography that intetests me is what I call the "Sex And The CIty" photo shoot. I was born and raised in a rural area, but I'm all city girl at heart. My favorite place to do senior portraits, model portfolios, and bridal shots is right downtown in the heart of the city. I like the fashion-photography twist that it lends to these types of shots.
