I'm haunted by all the lives I've lived in my dreams, haunted by the many futures I've seen, future's ill never see or experience, a prisoner of my time, to glimpse the unseeable is closure and a curse.

When Covid happened and my job at the time had halved my hours and food was hard to get and everyone was scared to leave the house, i stood in my back yard one night and was looking at the stars, a tiny group of stars that i saw every time i stargazed had a star that was blinking orange to red repeatedly, i was telling my mum to look at it and i ran inside to get dad but he couldn't hear me, i ran back to look again and the flashes stopped and the stars shimmered in that one spot and in that instant the light didn't look lightyears away it was only hundreds of meters away and all of a sudden as if they saw me pointing at them, and still cloaked, it shot off in the most peculiar way. Its stationary position was pointing south west and it turned clock wise and shot up and north east into space, as it did this its engines made no sound no sonic boom and the most amazing thing i have ever seen in my life was dual metallic liquid fat ribbons that evaporated as fast as the were expelled maybe 100m long and about 10m wide each, even on a moonless night and in darkness they were slightly iridescent silver. Id say the ship, based on the shimmer and how close it seemed, was as big as the millennium Falcon.
