Melissa and Jon Aaron are collectively Taunton Green.

Jon is the son of a Polish immigrant and a Mayflower descendant. His grandparents and father immigrated from Poland in 1949 with literally one dollar in their pocket. His mother's family arrived in Plymouth, Massachusetts on the Mayflower on December 21, 1620. He is from a long line of woodworkers, home builders, and various other crafters. His major emphasis is luthiery, or guitar making, of which he is self taught. Jon's favorite medium is wood.

Melissa is an accomplished artist in various media including ceramic sculpture, drawing, and graphic design. Melissa holds certificates from the Rhode Island School of Design in Ad & Print Design and Computer Graphics and from Rhode Island College a BFA in Ceramics. She comes from a very creative family of artists.
