I developed an interest in tattoos after a friend (female) had a rather unfortunate 'experience' with a tattoo that didn't come out as she'd imagined. (She got it in a place that she can't see without a mirror...)

I've since learned a lot, some useful, some horrifying, about the tattoo industry and process. I hope to pass some of that along, now that the average person thinks that gettng a tattoo is like buying a new shirt.

PS. When I was a kid, getting a tattoo meant you had been accepted into the local motorcycle gang.
