Since 1993, Tate's Comics, Inc. has be supplying South Florida with an immense variety of comics, toys, videos and virtually every kind of collectible imaginable.

Tate's Comics is the brainchild of Tate Ottati, who as a seventeen year old high school senior, opened the store as an alternative to all the cutthroat high-priced retailers around town. Tate had invested in Marvel stock while "playing" the stock market game in his high school economics class, Tate did very well in the "game" as well as in the "real-life" stock market, and sold the Marvel stock when it was very high. Shortly after he sold the stock, it went WAY down and is not even available any longer. That Marvel money helped open the store! With the assistance of his supportive father, Tony Ottati, Tate opened the doors to Tate's Comics, Inc. in March 1993.
