I am a sophomore in college studying English and marketing. My interests include photography, writing, reading, and any type of artistic expression.

I started taking photography in high school when I tried to capture surrealist thought in my pictures. I'm not sure I achieved that, as you can probably see from some of my earlier sets on my page. While the mood of my pictures seem to stay consistently perplexing and dark, they have evolved in the three years I've been somewhat serious about this art form.

I've toned it down quite a bit, and have come to appreciate the beauty in simplicity. Sure, they still have that "gothic" quality to them, but I guess you can't take the weird out of the pictures anymore than you can take the weird out of the girl.
