Tara to the T is the result of designer Tara Tonini combining her passion for accessories, vintage fashion, and unique personal sense of style into a vintage inspired line. Every aspect of the business, from designing, sewing, packaging and selling is done single handily by Tonini. In 2005, Tonini graduated from the fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising with a degree in Product Development. With a degree in hand and beautiful Los Angeles at her back, she set off to take the fashion accessory industry by storm. After several years of real-world experience in Southern California, Tonini was hired as a lead fashion accessories designer for a manufacturer in Dallas, TX. After working in a corporate environment, Tonini soon felt restricted in her creative process and set out to create Tara to the T- a realization of her own vision for the fashion industry. The next step was relocating her workshop to the historic Bishop Arts District of Dallas, Texas. The store front grad opening is scheduled for December, 2008.
