For quite a while now...a couple of months, i've lost track of what I really like to photograph. It has loads to do with not knowing what i want to say, with not being able to focus in the important things in life. Looking at my early stuff, photojournalism and shoots in film sets, i can tell that before i have so much to say without the need to control my surroundings, the light, the subject in the frame. My return to London being quite traumatic, longing for the past and living for a future that doesn't arrive has affected how i see things...slightly out of focus. My aim now is to simplify, simplify, simplify (as Jim Flory used to say). Hopefully, with time and miles walk under my shoes i will be able to reach to the place where balance meets.
