I used to be a videographer for public television and for a production company but Optic Neuritis took away my ability to focus well with my shooting eye, so I had to give up that career.

But I find I still have such a desire to express myself in a visual form. So I took up photography. I am new and am using a plain point and shoot canon. I am learning to use manual modes when possible.

I am working on my "eye" and learning to see things from a different vantage point. Once I have improved on that, then I will consider upgrading equipment and moving further.

In the meantime, I will simply use my camera to show people how I see the world.
