I’m a passionate photographer who loves exploring Spain. Since moving to Andalucia in 2017, I’ve been on a mission to capture as much of this beautiful country as possible. It’s not an easy task; Spain is fascinating and vibrant, and there are so many amazing places to visit and things to see.

I’ve always been drawn to photography. Years ago, I had a darkroom where I developed and printed my black-and-white photos. Then things went digital, and I started using software and a PC to edit my photos. What a big change! Despite enjoying digital photography, the allure of film photography was always there. I picked up my old Pentax MX in February 2020 and started shooting film again. This renewed interest led me to buy more film cameras and even set up a darkroom.

In 2024, I moved my online presence to grainyphotos.com for film photography and kept tapasinthesun.com for mostly digital photography.

I also love traveling, hiking, and living the tapas lifestyle in the Spanish sun.
