Landscape Photographer

Update:

In September of 2012 I purchased a Nikon D600. I bought a Nikon 16-18mm f4 lens a few months earlier. I am satisfied that the D600 full frame camera better suits my needs. I sold my D7000. I plan to use the proceeds to buy another good lens, perhaps a Tamron 24-70 F2.8 with VR. I am now using Photoshop CS6 and Lightroom 4 to process and organize my images. If my skills continue to improve, late in 2013 I will start an online portfolio to put my best work on sale.

Previous Update:

In June of 2011 I purchased a Nikon D7000 and three lenses. I've also purchased Photoshop CS5 and more plug-ins. I'm very excited about learning to use all this new stuff.

I am a beginner photographer interested in nature photography. I'm using a Canon S95, Photoshop Elements and Lightroom 3 with plug-ins to take and process my photos.

I want to improve my composition and post processing abilities but my main focus is on mood, beauty, artist expression and less on technical accuracy.
