A self taught photographer – born on 14th March at Depalpur, Madhya Pradesh, India.

My inclination towards performing arts, be it music, dance or theatre started too early in life.

Turning the pages of Russian magazines I was inspired by the beautiful and amazing pictures.

I longed to own a camera, so, along with my elder brother saved some pocket money to buy my dream my first camera Agfa’s Isoli II. I can never forget the movement, the joy of my prized possession

After graduation I took a job as a medical representative, this gave me an opportunity to travel extensively, but by the end, it was tiring, boring and monotonous. In course of time I realized that this was not my field, basically an artist by heart, my restless soul wanted to capture faces, colour, movements and rhythm. The urge was to strong and soon I gave up my job.

Photography, painting and theatre were my hobbies; I opted for photography, because it was more closer to my heart, more expressive and more creative.

Photography became my passion and profession now,

I enjoy doing Industrial, product photography and also capturing artists there expressions, the vibrant colours, graceful movements and rhythm.

I work for reputed advertising agencies, brochures for eminent artist and one of my major work is “Ankan” book on traditional textile hand printing like block printing, Bandhani, Bandhej, Qualamkari , Batik etc, published by “M.P. Aadiwasi Lok kala Parishad” ”( My 123 photographs published in this book )
