Im 50 and live in Suffolk but originally Im from Manchester.

Ive always loved photography since I took a film course at School when I was 14.

My first serious camera was a Nikon D200 which I still have and wont part with, I then worked up to a D7000 followed by a Full frame D610.

Ive also bought myself a Fuji X100T and wide angle converter, Wow Its blown me away with the quality of images it produces, especially in low light.

I love street photography and natural light portrait work. I have my own studio lights but they don't come out very often.I've shot around ten weddings now, they give me a real buzz but definitely find them hard work. Ive also shot commercial work for a hotel and been involved in making safety films for an International company.

So many people on Flickr continue to inspire me, Ive learnt so much from the great people on here thankyou everyone :)

I have been following Steve for a few years now when I first got into photography and it has been great watching his progress and without him knowing has been a massive inspiration to me. He has a keen eye for the moment always noticing things many of us would ignore day to day his Urbex work which he does with another of my inspirational photography friends here is simply out of this world and it is images that Steve (and others here) produce that make me strive to improve in hope one day I will become as naturally talented as him. Good luck Steve in your new line of portrait work not that you need it
