I guess if you are here a quick introduction is in order :)

My name is Laurita and I'm addicted to photography - oh wait, this isn't photographers anonymous?? Ok, well let me start over... Ummm... Yeah - my name is Laurita. And I am addicted to photography. Yes this is something you should know about me.

I've been interested in photography since I was old enough to hold up a camera. My first camera was a pink (yes, I said pink) 110mm Barbie camera. I loved that little thing. Then I graduated to a 35mm point and shoot bought from a garage sale for 25 cents. My sophomore year of high school I was given the gift of SLR. The camera was older than I was, but I didn’t care. Film was expensive, but I wasn’t concerned. In 2006 I made the digital jump and purchased the Nikon D50, and in March of 2009 I upgraded to the D200.

Photography is a journey, baby steps, one foot in front of the other until you can run... I'm just beginning to walk without wobbling, and I'm enjoying the journey.
