I am Geng Hui.

A photographer. A storyteller. A quiet observer of moments.

I started this journey in 2006, with a camera in hand and curiosity in my heart—

not knowing where it would lead, only knowing that I wanted to see, feel, and remember.

Over the years, photography became more than an image.

It became a way of understanding the world.

The streets, the people, the fleeting light—

the stillness of nature, the rhythm of events,

the layers of heritage and time quietly unfolding in Singapore and beyond.

I don’t just take photographs.

I collect moments that would otherwise pass unnoticed.

Twenty years on,

this is no longer just a gallery of images.

It is a living archive of a life in motion—

of places I have walked,

stories I have witnessed,

and fragments of time I chose to keep.

Some frames are loud.

Some are quiet.

Many are deeply personal.

There were pauses.

There were doubts.

There were times when the camera rested.

But I always returned—

because photography, in its own quiet way,

has always been home.

Why do I still shoot?

Because light changes.

People change.

Cities change.

And in between those changes,

there are moments worth holding on to.

If you are here,

perhaps you see something in these images too.

And in that shared moment—

the photograph lives on.
