Dad sent me to piano school to keep me away from drugs. Had he known earlier about my passion in the visual arts, he wouldn't be that anxious.
As a child I was inspired by an uncle who enjoyed designing and drawing vehicles in his spare time. I took a slightly different path and started out with pencils and drawing stick figures and then houses by combining triangles and squares - the basic shapes taught in kindergarten. While other children have shifted to other interests, I held on to my pencils then brushes later on. I was thrilled by watercolor and held on to it even when dad gave me a film SLR as a graduation present. As technology improved, I became more interested in computer graphics and convinced my dad for a digital SLR. What a spoiled brat I am, but it's far better than drugs!
The end result is I am indeed spared from drugs nevertheless I lack sleep just to keep up with all the arts in my life - music, photography, computer graphics, martial arts. I've got so much to show the world and the world has so much to show me. God, it's not a good time to die yet.
