Older and a little less mad.

I used to draw and paint a lot, many years ago. If nothing else, I hope that it gave me the background for understanding composition and colors. I haven't done this for decades, and since it's a very physical skill, training up to be as good as I was (which wasn't good enough tbh) seemed like a waste of time. Having very briefly flirted with photography before, it seemed like the obvious route to go.

Been doing photos for a handful of years now, since late '21, so late bloomer, I guess.

I prefer to do as much as possible in camera, mostly just some slight crops or correcting the horizon if necessary, and leaving the heavy editing to those hard to save shots. The less, the better.
