If an accident is witnessed by 100 people, there will then be 100 different views of what transpired. That, in essence, is flickr. We each view the world differently, with our own version of truth.

I don't care what kind of camera you use, I've seen wonderful shots from people using a camera phone and horrible photos from the guy with the Hasselblad, let's face it, driving a Lamborghini doesn't make you a better driver, it just makes you a driver with a more expensive vehicle. If you are pleased with the vehicle you photograph with, then bravo, that's all that should matter.

I am a classically trained chef, though no longer suffer the riggers of a professional kitchen. I do continue to cook out of passion and to silence the cries of the fledglings. I am employed as a Public Speaker and have been so for the past 10 years, this offers me a great variant of people to photograph, who have been most accommodating and to whom I offer my profound thanks. I am also involved with New Hampshire theatre, another great place to shoot interesting characters, though admittedly, there are days I'd rather have a taser than a camera.

My tastes are eclectic, I can find beauty in mundane objects and can pass up shooting a field of daisies without a second glance. I am not a professional photographer, obviously, though I do have several pieces in a Vermont gallery. I don't know how to use Photoshop, I do a bit of cropping and contrast but don't ask me to make you thinner, younger or remove that unsightly mole from your chin, if I knew how to do that I'd have done it to myself years ago.

After living in Chicago for 25 years, we decided to move to the great north woods of New Hampshire, no we are not in the witness protection program, regardless of what our friends tell you.

My work is ever evolving, in part because I have the attention span of a nit. I am inspired and fascinated by many of the photos on flickr and welcome your comments, questions, concerns or complaints.
