Still figuring out Flickr, but not new to posting photos on the web. My former photoblog was written up in Daily Variety and chosen as a Cool Stop of the day. Is that too uncool to say? Did I mention I'm still feeling my way around here?

I love photography. It catches and transforms as the same time. It's objective (the lens sees) and entirely subjective. It's absolutely transitory and concretely permanent. You can do it with cool precision or hot inspiration, a casual grab of a shot or a deliberate series of carefully lit images. It's addictive.

I also keep a blog, of course.
