Not only a fellow flickr member, Alan is a true friend even though I've never met him personally. As well as being a very talented photographer, he manages to advise and direct newcomers like me to a wide range of possibilities such as the use of HDR. His photostream displays a remarkable variety of subjects including landscapes, architecture, flora and fauna, and his use of HDR really makes for a stunning collection.
