Neophyte Hobbyist

It started with a Nikon D5000 which i received as a gift on my birthday last July 2010. Knowing it can perform much more than my Sony point n shoot camera (which was lost by my niece) and tabularasa on DSLR, i decided to enroll in a workshop with the purpose of simply learning how to use my new toy. After attaining my initial objective, I realized that there is much more to learn in photography, and so decided to take advanced workshops. To date, I have joined 7 photography workshops facilitated by different photography masters ( I am slow learner.....hahaha).

Having entered a new arena which is totally alien to my full time work, I am beginning to discover the world outside the 40yrs boundaries of my life. New people, places, discoveries, surprises and other new experiences make my life more exciting and full of fun!

This 5-month old hobby requires me to be more creative and exercise my left brain more. I find myself engaged in a challenge: to capture a moment, a story, a message, an art.... I am still learning....experimenting....listening....
