Artist, educator, human. I teach Studio Art at a college in the Chicago area. My creative interests include collage, alternative photographic processes, iPhoneography, and shooting with toy cameras. I enjoy being in the world, and express that enjoyment by capturing small parts of it with a camera. In my photographic work, I’m attracted to the everyday, but also to the unexpected and incongruous. In my collage and non-photographic work, I’m influenced by Dadaism, surrealism and mid 20th century design and architecture.
