I started this Flickr site in June of 2010 and it was all about taffeta. Just taffeta. Taffeta with it's lustre. Taffeta with it's soft whispering, rustling, swishing sounds. I favor the party dresses, the dance dresses, the cocktail dresses, the evening gowns. The period which most of the pictures were taken is the Golden Era of Fashion design, that period between 1948 and 1965. In addition to the taffeta photos, there are photos which I found irresistible. They are just so beautiful and so typical of the time that I had to include them.

This is a work in progress. Come back now and then not only to see what's new but also to see what I have Photoshopped on the older photos.
