Richard Ryan (RR) Anderson is downtown Tacoma’s self proclaimed “friendly neighborhood webmaster” at the website Holistic Forge Works [dot] Com. Skills include but are not limited to: (x)HTML & CSS web design, underground cartoons and gas-fired performance art which is ultimately about friendship, need, growing up in Alaska, and other timeless values. What do flying turtles, Erie steam shovels, feathered lawn mowers and chrome-bikini-clad ladies all have in common? Well besides the obvious answers like: “They are all tools of oppression for a tyrannical upper-class.” And my personal favorite: “They are all things that are quite unpleasant once you put them in your mouth.” No idle reader, the one true unifying factor is that they are all subject to the obsessions of underground cartoonist/illustrator RR Anderson.
