I've been into civil aviation since a child when I went regularly to Manchester airport when the viewing area was on the roof of Terminal 1 in the early 1980s. I still remember watching the aircraft being turned around and the smell of jet fuel. Been hooked ever since. I am also into amateur photography. Recently started using a Nikon D5300 with Tamron 70-300mm lens. Still got lots of practicing to do yet. I love nothing better that being at the airport camera in hand.
