My Artistic Style
Instead of a truly minimalist approach, I work to create a sense of openness; my photographs have a clean, natural and contemporary look.
My motivation for photography is the joy that comes from being behind the camera. I can honestly say that I love my work. I gain great satisfaction not only from seeing and taking the pictures, but from sharing my photographs of people, nature and life with you.
Even though I hesitate to name a specific photographer as my sole inspiration, I do admire the works of several artists, including Louise Dahle Wolf, Richard Avedon and Ansel Adams. When it comes to the modern day artists, I'm very impressed with the works of photographers like Sally Mann, Patrick Demarchelier, Melvin Sokolsky or Annie Leibovitz.
I constantly review my work, looking for technique and style improvements.
