I am an amateur photographer who enjoys taking photos of everyday objects, places, buildings, people, landscapes, wildlife, and generally being able to capture the moment. I am very nostalgic for the way things "used to be", so I enjoy collecting old photos of my town, and comparing them to the way it looks now. I guess you call it "then and now" photos. My wife hates it when I take my camera with me when we go out because she complains that she feels she's by herself. I wish she'd share to love of the photo with me. I took her to Italy for her birthday and she actually said please don't bring your camera. Fat chance of that happening! She was afraid she'd be walking around alone. When we returned she certainly wasn't shy about bragging about all the pictures I took, and boring our friends with them.

I love taking photos of my family and friends, and have 1000's of photos of my family from the time I was old enough to hold a camera. I enjoy restoring photos that my mom and dad took when they were growing up.
