My degree includes history of art and design, colour theory, typography, composition on focus in printmaking. Thus I learned how to organize text and graphic elements to create folders, flyer, brands and all kind of communication material. My dissertation was a research proposing a graphic and cultural analysis of Brazilian cover books, between 1922 until 1945. This work was finished with a book catalogue of Brazilians covers images, from that period.

Working in a film – Borboletas Azuis (Blue Butterflies) – as Art Director Assistant I learned to be a team worker, to be skilful and creative with only few resources and to take decisions.

Graphic Designer

I worked on many brands for companies and business. Therefore, I developed my knowledge about the importance and audience impact of a brand and learned how to create interesting graphic solutions for a logo.

 

2007 – HSBC Bank

Web Designer

I developed web advertisements for HSBC Bank and interfaces for their cash machines. Thus, I took the opportunity to practice advertisement techniques and improve my web skills.

 

2006-2007 – AR Communication (Advertisement Agency)

Graphic Designer

I created layout for many web sites. I did a vintage web sites like: Jacobina Bar and Sobremesas Banoffi. Furthermore, a web site for Assistance Insurance Company. There I made some other design materials as brands and folders. On addition, in this internship I learned to develop websites from the beginning to the end. Thus, I created the websites since from the research until the web trial at the Internet.

LaMid is a web site laboratory at the University, it was my first internship. There I created some websites and learned how to use many programs.
