My interest in railways goes back to the 1940's and my own collection of photos starts in 1956 when I borrowed my parents rather basic camera to take on spotting trips. A number of cameras of my own were used throughout the years starting in 1957 with a Kodak Sterling folding camera until today when I have a Canon EOS 60D digital. In addition to my own photos I acquired a number of negatives from various sources which illustrate most of the years back to the 1930's.
