We take action to get the people in charge to do what they can to stop the Climate Crisis from becoming irreversible

The SYCS is an alliance of students in Scotland protesting for rapid and comprehensive government action on climate change and we are part of the FridaysForFuture movement.

While Scotland is quite progressive in terms of climate change, there remains a lot to be done in order to prevent climate change from becoming irreversible and action must be taken now in order to ensure a future for humanity, and the rest of life on earth.

The next global protest will be in September 20th-27th. This will take various forms in different cities and towns, and there are currently some marches being planned. Please see the Strike Locations page for more information.
