Hmm... let's see. Well I was born in Gainesville, though not an ACR... I was born and raised out in the "woods", Melrose to be exact, and which is where my love for wildlife began.

I am a mother of a beautiful little 7 year old girl, Chloe, who is my ultimate pride and joy, she is an angel and I love her more than anything in this world. Though she is strong willed and often demanding, I can't blame her much because she gets it from me. She has taken ballet/tap dancing lessons, as well as singing lessons... and she calls her self "A superstar." She has been taking weekly horseback riding lessons for over 4 years now. So she also calls herself "A real cowgirl." What can I say... the adventures have just begun. :)

I graduated from UF in 2007 with a bachelors degree in Wildlife Ecology and Conservation. I was sooooo excited to finally graduate. Its definitely been a journey, that's for sure. I learned a lot while at UF...you can ask me anything about managing for deer or quail, but any other wildlife, you are out of luck. (Just kidding!) Oh and if you didn't know that longleaf pine habitat requires frequent fires, then you shouldn't live in Florida... blah blah blah... oh, and lastly.... I ♥ birds :) duh
