Life has a funny way of passing us by all too quickly - which typically results in missing out on the finer things.

Discovering photography has made me slow down a bit. Stop and smell the roses. Appreciate the details life has to offer. And those details are infinite, IF we choose to look for them.

Since finding this new hobby of mine about a month ago I've done things that I've never done before, like getting up at 4:45am so I could get to the beach in time for sunrise!

It's been awesome and a rediscovery of what life is all about - the small things. The details. The things that 99% of our population walks by every day without noticing.

I'm now taking notice and if you choose to view my pictures, I hope it evokes similar emotions and will, just maybe, make you stop and smell the roses.
