I always enjoyed taking pictures. For most of my youth, I was "that guy" with the camera on trips trying to take embarassing pictures of my friends (eating, sleeping, etc.).

At some point I grew up and actually made an effort to take good ones, and enjoyed the whole process. I got a little Canon point and shoot digital camera and went to town with that thing.

Finally, in March of '06 I purchased a digital SLR. I joined Flickr at around the same time. My first images are testament to the fact that I had (and still have) plenty to learn.

I am constantly trying to get better at the craft, and consider myself a Serious Amateur. I used to list all of my gear here, but that just seems a little pointless now, besides, if you really want to know its buried in the EXIF data. I use Nikon and am happy with it. I am currently saving up for lenses that cost nearly as much as my first car. This hobby is way to stinking expensive.

On December 16, 2007, my beautiful daughter was born and significantly curtailed my photography adventures, though I have become quite adept at baby pictures. I have uploaded them here, but keep them protected for "Friends and Family" to see. If you'd like a peak ask, and I'll see about sharing :).
