I grew up in the Philadelphia area, and I'm married and the Mom of an adult son. Hubby's retired now, and we have the pleasure of being snowbirds -- living on Long Island in summer and Hilton Head Island in winter.

I love photography and upgraded to a DSLR camera in 2008 - a Canon Xsi Rebel. Then, in 2014, I purchased a Canon D70. I now combine smartphone photography (Samsung Galaxy phones) with my DSLR. Our phones really take good pictures these days!

My favorite subjects are nature, landscapes, and wildlife. I enjoy taking macros, too.

We have one elderly tuxedo kitty, Misty, born in 2010. Her littermate was Felix, who died in 2022. Check out the many photos I have of them and previous kitties in our lives

Besides photography, I am a flutist and often play in church. Online journaling (Live Journal and Dreamwidth) has also become a passion, and I often showcase my photos with my entries.
