Illustration has always been my passion since childhood. I was drawn to arts, as a way of communicating visually to the world. The idea of taking your audience through a journey of a series of illustrations and creating the art pieces into moving images, and leaving audience a memory from it. This idea had motivated me to continue to achieve my goals in becoming an illustrator in the future. My portfolio reflects my creativity and personality. I have mostly self-taught myself to a range of different skills and techniques from; drawing, painting, lino printing, and paper cut-outs. I also enjoy spending time and effort to the finest of details; working based on imagination, observation, and memory. I believe that my work of arts shows originality and flare; this allows me to create my own unique style of work, under the influences from great artists; Hayao Miyazaki, Andre Breton, Salvador Dali, and Ehime, who have been my inspirations. My determination will enable me to tackle any obstacle that lies in university. In addition, my enthusiasm will make it easier to find people who also have similar interests towards illustration as me; this will improve my creativity. Higher education will enable me to enhance my skills, broaden my knowledge of illustration and challenge my creativity. I believe I will benefit from further study because this will fulfil
my dreams to pursue my passion in illustration.
