I love modern quilts, being part of the wonderful online sewing community and taking part in Flikr swaps.

I am often favouriting gorgeous makes from around the quilting community on here and I think that my *Flikr Favourites* should show my taste in quilts well. My preference is for bright modern fabrics mixed with text or grey or Essex dyed linen. I really love scrappy projects and, of course, dandelions hold a special place in my heart too.

Cushions - my preference is for cushions sized at 16" or 18" square. I love cushions that have traditional quilt binding around or piping. I also love a flange on a cushion.

I am currently daydreaming about Alison Glass's new fabric line *Sun Prints*. I am often in love with the intricate designs of Tula Pink and recently I have been loving AMH and Melody Miller. My favourite fabrics are usually honeycombs, spots , pindots, or text prints.

I also really like woodgrain with solids, hsts, paper pieced stars and string pieced blocks. I love scrappy projects and beautiful embroidery {which I am in awe of because embroidery is not my strong point}.

I am currently lusting after quilted jam jar covers {I'm sure I saw them on Aneela Hoey's blog!} and a fabric embroidery hoop wall hanging to keep my rotary cutters in.
