I am an old-time photographer. Learned to use my father's SLR at age 14, and took black & white photos of classmates at school, pets at home. I used to volunteer to take photos of social events, friends' weddings, birthdays, etc. Nowadays everyone has a phone camera. I'm much more laid back these days. Nevertheless, I still enjoy travel photography and simply documenting life events. Photography has not stopped being a way of seeing and capturing the moment. I don't know any better way of stopping time and saving a memory for myself and others.
