I am a mother of 3, a grandmother of 3. I moved back home to Missouri May 30, 2008 from New York and have been having a blast taking pictures of the Mid West, although I have some awesome photos of the Catkill Mountains and surrounding areas of upstate New York. I started taking pictures a year ago with my Nikon D40, and recently added a new lens 55-200mm lens. Love it!

1. Altruistic Photos, anyone can join.

2. Franklin County Camera Club, for people who live in Franklin County Missouri. Once we have enough members I will be hosting regular meetings some where in the county where we can meet with our cameras, photos, contest, disscussion, classes, and field trips. I belonged to a camera club in New York and learned alot and had alot of fun with all my new friends. I want to share that with others.

 

While in New York I worked for The Catskill Public Library and Palenville Branch. Palenville was one of the first Artist Colonies in up state New York. The town is packed full of Artist of all kinds. One day while working at the Palenville Branch a professional Photographer by the name of Lew Wilson came in and seen some of my work. He had nothing but great things to say about my photos. He also gave me a great contact in New York City for if I ever wanted to post photos with a stock company. Lew was also kind enough to give me some tips on digital photography. I will be sharing them at Altruistic Photos Group so check the group often.
