I grew up in 3 countries in Africa, lived in London for a time and then as a lover of the great outdoors, came to settle in Southern California, the Wild, Wild, West. As an avid Explorer, International Travel bug and self taught Landscape and Oceanscape Photographer, I find living in Southern California so thrilling with its close proximity to the beautiful Pacific Ocean coastline, the amazing mountains with giant Sequoia or Redwoods, the awe inspiring South West Desert areas and the incredible National and State parks- all within proximity of a few hours.

I am a slave to the Art of Sunset Photography, always looking for an opportunity to see and capture new things in different ways. There isn't anywhere I wouldn't go anything I wouldn't do when there are good clouds in the sky and a potential for a color explosion.

Earth, wind, fire, water- these elements in any combination make for a great landscape or seascape!

I like to show the experience of being in a location through photo's, that's why you'll sometimes see me post a "series" of photos instead of just one or two of my best. I often use flickr images to "research" what I want to see and photograph before I travel and I'd like to give back and be that same kind of resource for others...
