I joined flickr several years ago to be a part of a large photographic community. I have viewed thousands upon thousands of photos that still amaze me to this day. I have read books and worked with other photographers to get "better" at capturing images. I hope I have learned, but I know that I will always have much more to.

I look to all of you for inspiration. As I get to travel a bit more these days, I hope to be able to catalog the amazing things I am blessed to see. My wife has informed me, lately, that there are so many things she cannot see in her minds eye anymore, but as she puts it, that is why I take all those pictures.

I try to do them justice, but I still fall short. I only hope that I can get close enough to keep the memories alive for us both. I'll keep looking to all of you for inspiration and guidance. Thank you all.
